This is a new concept of web slings. The patented LOCKAY system comprises suspension eyes and a rotating axle with a locking device, so that the user may easily and quickly make his own slings to suit the application and the length needed.. Once cut, the webbing is simply fitted around the rotating axle and blocked within the LOCKAY end fitting.
Length of the slings simply adjusted by refitting the belt on one of the end fittings, reducing the need for a large stock of slings.

Other advantages:

• No stitching required, allowing full capacity of the web slings.
• Replacement of worn out or damaged slings on site and re-use of LOCKAY end fittings.
• Safety: belt-thickness checking device incorporated and fitting is only possible if the number of turns of the rotating axle is correct.
