The TIRAK wire rope traction hoist was originally developed as a scaffolding hoist but it can of course be used as well as a material hoist for lifting and pulling applications with an unlimited length of wire rope.

There is a very wide range of models available, from 300 kg (750 lbs in North America) to 3000 kg (3 tons) with electric, pneumatic or hydraulic motors.

The TIRAK material hoist can be used as an endless wire rope without any reeler.  It can also be used with a reeler and installed within a compact frame, called a TIRAK mobile winch or GRIPWINCH mobile winch.
